After spending the summer at my cottage, I look forward to coming home and spending my Friday evenings playing bibgo at SS Peter & Paul Church in good old Depew, NY. With big prize money, friendly workers and their famous polish kitchen I was still surprized at the long line to get in. That's when I found out the bad news. After close to 50 years this was to be their last night running bingo and anyone who has been to their bingo wanted to get one last game in. I thought that I might go to their Monday game but was told that last week was the end of their 35 year run. The workers, who I will miss told me that their church is another domino of the planned church closings. I will miss SS. Peter & Paul Church, its bingo workers and friendly players.
